Worked as senior game designer in pod production setting for feature creation. Reported to associate game director. Created feature to drive engagement and increase player retention. 

Plot Expansion Feature

Current System

  • Farmland unlock is dependent on player level 

  • Player has to spend coins to purchase land

  • Adjacent farmland can only be purchased

Designed System

  • Removal of dependencies (Player is given freedom)

  • Player doesn't need to spend coins to purchase land

  • Adjacent farmland can only be purchased

  • Player need to interact with neighbours feature to buy land

Responsibilities

  • Creation of feature documents 

  • Creation of multiple data excel documents that will handle distribution of resources, points system and progression system

  • Modification of existing documents and files in game engine to delink existing content

  • Adding and tweaking new content to the game related to feature of the game. 

  • Working with producer, programmers and artist to achieve the feature. 

  • Fixing bugs and tweaking the feature to achieve desired results for alpha release
