Project Tasks Overview

Role & Responsibilities

Worked as game designer project lead. I was responsible for the game concept and managing 5 game designers. Setting the project vision and managing tasks was major part of my responsibility.

Pre-Production

Concept / Feature/ Prototyping

  • I was responsible for creating the basic systems & features of the game.

  • Pitching concepts to stake holder

  • Finalizing game design document

  • Prototyping the level and bike physics

  • Working on summarizing different environments the player will go through

Resource allocation

  • Allocating game designers tasks

  • Finalizing and signing off on allocated tasks 

  • Guiding the designers when required result is not achieved 

  • Motivating and guiding team to deliver all the tasks on time

Production/ Post Production

Gameplay/ Level Design/ Tuning/ QA

  • Creating and finalizing gameplay elements and levels

  • Tuning game physics and obstacles in the game

  • Working on controls and physics of different bikes

  • Tweaking levels & designing multiple levels

  • Finalizing gameplay progression and tweaking elements as per play test

  • Solving QA bugs for Gameplay, progression, physics, levels

Resource allocation/ Milestone Achievement

  • Allocating game designers tasks

  • Finalizing and signing off on allocated tasks 

  • Ensure vision of the game is followed by the game designers/ Programmers/ Artist

  • Assure of milestone set by the stake holders is achieved
