Role & Responsibilities

Game Designer from concept to gold master

  • Role was solely of a campaign level designer

  • I was responsible to create 12 High value target missions and 3 boss fight missions for campaign 3.

  • My work was solely based on the Unity 3D for creating the levels

  • I used to draw a level first on paper and then show the level to Lead game designer

  • Make changes to the paper level as per the given feedback by the Lead designer and submit the level again

  • Once approved by the lead designer I would create a document with level specifications which included objectives of the level, number of enemies, types of enemies in the level etc.

  • Once the document was approved, I would start creating the level in unity 3D with basic shapes and enemies with their paths

  • Once the level prototype was completed and approved, I would create a final level with the actual game art assets and the art team will finalize the submitted level.

  • Once the level is completed and submitted for the QA I used to solve the bugs posted by the QA team on JIRA.
