Game Designer for production cycle of Game

  • Research on moves and animations to work with Lead designer to setup Gameplay

  • Zombie death match has a slow brawler gameplay where you can use a zombie to fight other zombies in an apocalyptic world.

  • There are 12 moves a zombie can perform from basic attacks to heavy attacks. Each zombie has 3 special move animation which is a cinematic move for which I had to come up with references for animations

  • Worked on UFE (Ultimate fighting engine) an extension of Unity 3D for setting up different moves and events

  • Moves included creating a combo asset file with animation and hit box configuration as well as the particle effects and sound effects that were to be assigned to the frames.

  • Creating a document with references for artist animators and programmers

  • Documents like game particle effects, sound reference documents, Animation references documents, flow chart for programmers.

  • Working on the FTUE flow of the game.

  • Creating character documents for new characters

  • Using references from sketches, pictures to animations for describing a character

  • Each character would have a different personality Example: There would be a clown zombie a scarecrow zombie etc.

  • Worked on AI of the Zombie game where I had to create templates based on probability of the zombie type

  • Probability would be based on different number of factors example: Health, Power bar, Progression etc
